Maritsa Municipality, Plovdiv will soon receive its electric waste collection vehicles
The first electric waste collection trucks in Bulgaria will soon become part of the Maritsa Municipality's fleet.
They are fully manufactured in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria, and are the latest addition to the SEVIC V500e model lineup—featuring a lifting cargo body with an ergonomic design and the capability for both automated and manual waste collection.
A total of six electric vehicles are scheduled to join the Maritsa Municipality's fleet in September this year, as part of the environmental initiative to ensure the region's cleanliness.
Waste collection using electric trucks will be carried out in an innovative way—operating with zero carbon emissions and silent efficiency, while reaching even the most hard-to-access areas.
The SEVIC V500e is the future of waste collection. Its all-electric propulsion and silent operation make it the most environmentally friendly and sustainable option on the market. It is an important step towards reducing emissions and improving the quality of life in urban environments.
SEVIC V500e vehicles have successfully cleaned hard-to-reach areas in cities and their historic centers for over three years. They are part of the fleet of municipalities in the regions of Naples, Pesaro, and Aprilia in Italy.
