Sevic at the Competence Convention "Climate-Friendly Mobility NRW"
At the ninth Competence Convention "Climate-Friendly Mobility NRW" on November 8, 2022, more than 300 participants and speakers met to discuss current topics, trends and developments in mobility in NRW. The event was moderated by Peter Schwierz, editor-in-chief of the magazine electrive.net.
The official welcome and introduction to the day was given by NRW Economics Minister Mona Neubaur, who in her address focused, among other things, on the importance of the transport sector for achieving the state's climate protection goals. This was followed by a moderated discussion in which Mona Neubaur and NRW Environment Minister Oliver Krischer made clear how climate-friendly mobility can be implemented in NRW in a sustainable manner and which ministry bears which responsibilities in this regard.
After the ministers had finished their stage program, they went in front of the Flora for some media appointments. In this context, Nils Henkel, Marketing Manager at Sevic, was able to present the company and also the new V500e to the Minister for Environment, Nature Conservation and Transport of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia, Oliver Krischer. Mr. Krischer was impressed by our European vehicle and we are looking forward to a further exchange with him and his ministry, as well as the Ministry for Economy, Industry, Climate Protection and Energy.
The rest of the conference program focused on renewable energy sources, charging infrastructure and fuel cell drivetrains. Start-up pitches, outlooks on developments and trends complemented the event. During the lunch and coffee breaks, the audience had the opportunity to talk to Sevic in the exhibition area and at the vehicle.
We would like to thank the organizers of ElektroMobilität NRW, especially Mr. Mecklenbeck and Mr. Kremer, and the entire team at Flora Cologne. We are looking forward to next year!
