High-ranking visitors at our factory: Bulgarian Ministers test the new V500e
Ministers Borislav Sandov and Daniel Lorer experienced the new Sevic V500e at Milara International’s factory in Plovdiv. We are soon starting serial production and heavily investing in a sustainable manufacturing plant.
This week Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister and Environment and Water Minister Borislav Sandov and Innovation and Growth Minister Daniel Lorer experienced the new Sevic V500e. After a conference in the Trakia Economic Zone (TEZ) they visited our plant at Milara International. Sevic’s General Manager Alexander Brilis and the team proudly presented the European-made Sevic V500e. The visit was accompanied by a lot of media and TV coverage.
Both ministers were extremely impressed with the vehicle and enjoyed their first test drive. The new Sevic V500e is designed for last-mile operations. The vehicle is 100% electric, has a loading capacity of over 600kg and a range of up to 300km. With these specifications the V500e can be used in all kinds of applications in the city.
After a successful homologation for the European market, our full production line is ramping up with first cars expected to be delivered in April 2022. Milara is committed to building a new production plant in a multi-million Euro investment deal. A large-scale solar system is also planned to be installed for a greener production of our electric vehicles.
Sevic together with Milara are at the forefront of innovation. There are already over 25 municipalities in Bulgaria who use Sevic vehicles, for example in the green sector and waste management.
We are grateful for the visit of the ministers and are looking forward to presenting the V500e in settings like this all over Europe, stay tuned.
